How Often Do Shelties Play?
When getting a Sheltie, you must be prepared to play with them a lot! Especially when they are puppies and when they are younger. The shelties I have always want to play when I walk into a room they are in. If they see one of their toys and they see me, they automatically grab a toy and I can’t help the fact how cute they look when they have one of their toys in their mouth!
How Often Do Shelties Actually Play? And How Often Should You Play With Them?
In my experience with having Shelties, I would say they want to play at least 10 or more times a day! Shelties constantly want to play and have attention from their owners. But when Shelties want to play you need to have the discipline to not play with them everytime they want to play because you are showing them that they are the alpha!
In my opinion, you should try to aim to play with your Sheltie or Shelties at least 3 to 5 times a day. The reason why is because you want to make sure that you give the attention they deserve and to make sure they get some sort of exercise! Shelties love to play with toys so make sure you spoil them with a bunch of them!! I will be doing an article of what toys are the best for your Shelties!
